Uses
Protection from UV Radiation: Shields the skin from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays, including UVA and UVB.
Â
Prevention of Sunburn: Reduces the risk of sunburn, which can cause pain, redness, and peeling.
Â
Anti-Aging: Helps prevent premature aging signs like wrinkles, fine lines, and hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure.

Effect on the Body
Physical Protection: Contains mineral ingredients like zinc oxide or titanium dioxide that sit on the skin’s surface and reflect UV rays.
Â
Chemical Protection: Contains organic (carbon-based) compounds like avobenzone, oxybenzone, or octocrylene that absorb UV radiation and convert it to heat, which is then released from the skin

How to Use
Finger/Dotting Method:
Squeeze sunscreen along the entire length of your index and middle fingers. This amount is approximately 2-3 grams, which is generally sufficient for the face (OR) Use your fingers to dot the sunscreen evenly across your face. Apply dots to the forehead, cheeks, nose, chin, and neck and distribute evenly.
Â
Absorption Time:
Allow the sunscreen to absorb into your skin for at least 15-30 minutes before sun exposure. This ensures maximum effectiveness.
Â
Reapplication:
Reapply every two hours if you are outdoors, and immediately after swimming, sweating, or towel-drying.

Precautions
Sensitive Skin: For sensitive skin, choose sunscreens labeled as hypoallergenic or formulated for sensitive skin, often containing physical blockers like zinc oxide or titanium dioxide.
Â
Patch Test: Conduct a patch test before using a new sunscreen to ensure there is no allergic reaction or irritation.
Â
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Consult a healthcare provider before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
